WelshpoolBC, Welshpool Baptist Church located in Chelsea Lane is an old church dating back to about 1820.Our minister or pastor is rev. Keith Fantham. We are a congregation of members who love the Lord Jesus Christ and worship Him as our Risen Saviour. We have a small music group consisting of two guitars, an electric piano, violin, drums, and an accordian. We are blessed with members who are able to play the piano. We all come from a variety of backgrounds such as, but not limited to, Evangelical, Pentecostal, Brethren, Church of England as well as Baptist. We support the work of the local Welshpool Churches Together who work to unite the local churches in working together with joint services and outreach events. We believe that the bible is the inspired Word of God and is useful for teaching etc. We believe in the baptism of believers through total submersion. We have two active youth groups on a Friday evening. OneWay club for the pre-high school ages (up to 11 year olds) and Power House for the 11 to 18 year olds. We also have an annual youth camp where we enjoy games, beach activities and youth meetings where the Gospel is preached in a relaxed, informal and exciting manner. website includes bookshop with videos, books, software and music cd's including delarius, hillsong praise and worship music, bible software for children and adults, Jesus of Nazereth video, bibles including NKJV New King James Version and New International Version NIV.
